Maureen [Saturdays 3:00pm - 7:00pm] & [Sundays 2:00pm - 7:00pm] I've been working at Asheville Radio Group since August 2010 (when I was interning) and am so happy to be an on-air personality now! This has been my favorite place of employment thus far. Everyone is such a character and a complete joy to be around during the workday. I grew up in Charlotte, NC and came to Asheville 5 years ago to attend UNC Asheville. I graduated this past May, and am proud to be one of the few who stayed here. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else in the near future. The mountains, the music, the people, and the food are way too incredible to leave! I aspire to one day be a programming director for radio, but for now am having a blast learning the ins and outs of radio here at ARG! In my free time, I attend a lot of live music, and I like to travel. I just got back from a 2 week trip to Ireland, and though I miss is greatly, I'm so glad to be back in Asheville. I’m excited and thankful to be a part of the Mix family. I couldn't imagine a better group of people to be surrounded with every day.
